AIR France KLM Martinair Cargo (AF-KLMP) has teamed up with CSafe Global to launch the ULD pharma specialists' new RAP e-container, an electrical container that the Franco-Netherlands carrier will use to serve its customers in the pharmaceutical industry.
AF-KLMP's head of product and development pharma logistics Fabrice Panza was quoted as saying in a report by London's Air Cargo News: 'With its unmatched capabilities at extreme ambient temperature and its improved battery, this new RAP container will enable us to offer even more reliable solutions on extra-long-range shipments with best-in-class maintained of the temperature setting.
'We are excited to partner CSafe Global in launching this innovative product, reaffirming our commitment to offering customers the very latest technology to ensure the quality of the products and services we offer.'
CSafe account director for AF-KLMP Sebastien Berrous added: 'The CSafe RAP offers the expanded cargo capacity (up to five Euro-pallets or four US-pallets) needed to accommodate larger cold-chain shipments.'
