GERMAN shipping giant Hapag-Lloyd and top Hamburg terminal operator Hamburger Hafen und Logistik (HHLA), will continue close cooperation in Hamburg for another five years, they said in joint statement.
Both parties have agreed to intensify their collaboration on expanding hinterland connections and reducing emissions in the Port of Hamburg.
'We are very pleased to be able to continue our longstanding, trusting and intensive collaboration. As a result, the Port of Hamburg is and will remain a maritime hub of high importance to global logistics flows,' said HHLA chief executive Angela Titzrath and Hapag-Lloyd CEO Rolf Habben Jansen in a joint statement.
