On June 17, 2018, at 4.34 p.m. a fire broke out in the captain's cabin of the 'Predpriimchivyy' which was alongside berth No.4 at the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy. At 5.16 p.m. the fire was extinguished by Kamchatka fire-fighters. As a result of the fire, a duty watchman died. An investigation was under way.
