Vessel Xin Jin Hai Returns to Sea After Receiving Quality Service at Lixin Shipyard(China)
On June 1st, the vessel ‘Xin Jin Hai”, repaired by China Shipping Industry Co., Ltd. Lixin Shipyard, was successfully redelivered to the owner. The owner’s representative of this vessel sincerely praised the shipyard for its good quality, service and repair timing control. The subject vessel arrived at the shipyard on May 11th and her main project was the repair of M/E No.3 & 5 cylinder crosshead. It was reported that the crosshead had worked abnormally and the owner planned to assign this job to the service team of the maker. However, the maker could not promise to complete the task in due time. Based on this situation, the owner decided to award this repair job to Lixin Shipyard who assured the owner the job could be completed within the schedule. Immediately the shipyard arranged a technical team to check and analyze the problem carefully and set up a feasible solution. Finally the shipyard only took 5days to fulfill this repair work. On May 30th, the mooring trial of M/E was conducted and everything was in perfect condition.
