General cargo Dongenborg ran aground W off Laeso Jan 3, while passing Kattegat. Traffic control suspected master of being drunk, judging from his blurred radio talk, but police was able to test him only some time later, and alchohol in blood was too small to charge master with drunkeness. Still, he’ll be fined for something like “reckless driving of a vehicle”. Vessel refloated and anchored Jan 4 off Skagen for inspection. Dongenborg IMO 9163697, dwt 8867, built 1999, flag Netherlands, owner Wagenborg Shipping.
