This development comes as the Conley Container Terminal handled 237,166 TEU in 2015, an 11 per cent increase from 2014 on the back of the strong regional economy and higher levels of productivity, data from the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) showed, reported American Shipper.  Import volumes surged 8.1 per cent from 2014, while export volumes jumped 5.4 per cent. To date the largest ships to call at the box terminal in 2015 were the MSC Judith and Cosco Napoli both of which have capacities over 8,000 TEU.
