EIGHT empty containers fell into water from the US-flagged 1,614-TEU APL Gulf Express berthed at Kuwait's Port of Shuwaikh, on June 28, under unknown circumstances. According to Kuwait Port Authority statement, all containers have been recovered. On July 1, the geared 20,979-dwt ship was still berthed at Shuwaikh, reports Kiev's Maritime Bulletin, a marine casualty journal.
