UPS has expanded its Worldwide Express Freight and Worldwide Express Freight Midday services to customers in 2,300 postal codes in the metropolitan areas of Moscow, St Petersburg and Nizhniy Novogorod. This expansion enables customers to have enhanced access to the company's logistics network for urgent and heavy shipments, reports New York's Air Cargo World.

The move coincides with the company's efforts to grow its air fleet, which has led to an increase in first quarter air volumes. To accommodate this growth, UPS has also entered into an agreement with Air Transport Services Group as a dry lease customer.
