Istanbul Shipyard has commissioned PASHA 14 and PASHA 15, boosting its fleet to 29 fuel barges since 2012, enhancing Turkey's fuel supply capacity.
The new generation fuel barges named PASHA 14 and PASHA 15, built by Istanbul Shipyard, have been put into service. With this delivery, the number of fuel barges constructed by the company since 2012 has reached 29. Of this fleet, 23 operate under the Turkish flag, while 6 have been exported abroad.
With the addition of the new barges to the fleet, it is aimed to further strengthen Turkey's bunker fuel supply capacity. It has been noted that, thanks to investments made in recent years, the fuel barge fleet has significantly rejuvenated and modernized. This transformation has also contributed to safety, efficiency, and environmental performance in port operations.
Turkey's strong bunker fleet played a significant role in the safe, fast, and uninterrupted execution of approximately 2.2 million tons of fuel supply operations carried out in 2025. With the commissioning of PASHA 14 and PASHA 15, it is aimed to further increase operational capacity in marine fuel supply activities and effectively meet the rising demand.
