    The "Chon Lunj 3010", 5772 dwt, was in collision with the cargo m/v "New Sailing 2" on July 31, 2017, at 10.29 p.m. at Taicang on the Yangtze river. The "New Sailing 2" with a cargo of timber was bound to Taicang, the "Chong Lunj 3010" with a cargo of containers and 15 crew members on board was en route from Chongging to Shanghai. She sank after collision, two crew members went missing. There were more than 180 containers on board, most of them went overboard when the vessel sank. A large-scale SAR operation was launched in order to find the missing crew members and recover floating containers.
