Turkish-flagged cargo ship "Hacı Süvari" ran aground in Aegean Sea.

Turkish-flagged cargo ship "Hacı Süvari" ran aground in Aegean Sea, Turkish maritime news site "www.denizhaber.com" reports.  The 77 meters-long 994 GRT cargo ship loaded 900 metric tons of "clinker" (the cement used in construction materials) from Akçansa Port, started sailing heading to Marmara Ereğli  but for an unknown reason, went aground near Beşiğe Point just before entering the Strait of Dardanalles.  Following the incident, General Directorate of Coastal Safety  sent the tugboat "Kurtarma-3" to the incident site for safety reasons.
