    Turkey's leading expert tugboat builder and operator Med Marine announced the signing of a contract with Robert Allan Design for its new tugboat line.   

    Turkey's leading expert tugboat builder and operator Med Marine announced the signing of a contract with Robert Allan Design for its new tugboat line.   

    Med Marine’s new tugboat line includes 6 units of Robert Allan Design RAmparts 2300 tugboats, designed exclusively for Med Marine. A total of six units are targeted to be delivered during 2017.

     The high quality vessels are 50 TBP ASD type tugboats  with 23m x 10.9m in dimensions by length and width. They are powered by a pair of powerful CAT 3512C main engines, each producing 1.380 bKw at 1.600 rpm. Thruster system is consisting of  a pair of Schottel SRP 340 FP propellers. Tugboats do have  FI-FI E notation.
