In the morning of Feb 1, 2018, the 'Indusbank' caught fire at the height of Kaya Rotterdam in the Hato district on Bonaire. The ship had just pulled away a tanker away from the WEB terminal after which the fire broke out. The exact circumstances were still unclear. The tug has been taken to the open sea by the fire brigade, where it was allowed to burn out. The crew had been transferred onto another tug before.
