Fars News Agency reports the Strait of Hormuz is closed again, halting oil tanker transit despite a temporary ceasefire between the US and Iran.
In a report by the semi-official Fars News Agency, known for its ties to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, it was stated that the Strait of Hormuz, which was announced to be opened for the passage of ships following a temporary ceasefire between the US and Iran, has been closed.
The report indicated that the passage of oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz has been halted due to Israel's attack on Lebanon.
Additionally, it was noted that following the establishment of the temporary ceasefire, two oil tankers 'passed safely through the Strait of Hormuz with Iran's permission' this morning.
