    TIANJIN Port Pacific International Container Terminal, located at port of Tianjin's Dongjiang port area, has experienced rapid growth since it started operation at the end of 2007, Xinhua reports.

    TIANJIN Port Pacific International Container Terminal, located at port of Tianjin's Dongjiang port area, has experienced rapid growth since it started operation at the end of 2007, Xinhua reports.

    Being the largest container terminal at the port of Tianjin, Pacific terminal's throughput climbed from 835,200 TEU in 2008 to 2.45 million TEU in 2011.

    The terminal is operated jointly by Tianjin Port Group and Port of Singapore Authority (PSA). It has six 150,000-tonne container berths with a quay length of 2,300 metres and a depth of 16 to 18 metres, able to accommodate seven containerships of the sixth generation. It can handle up to four million TEU every year and is operating 19 international shipping lanes to Korea, Japan, South East Asia, Iran, Europe and US.
