"I would like to attach to the case the plaintiff a letter with the request to pay the agreed amount, which is subject to the waiver of the claim," - said the representative of the Turkish company at the meeting of the Arbitration Court of the Rostov Region, RIA "Novosti". He added that on Tuesday the sum was transferred, but has not yet entered into the account "SGM-Bridge". According to him, at the moment the vessel was under arrest, and already there are difficulties in the livelihood of the cargo ship and crew. For this reason Turkuaz Shipping does not want to delay the trial. The court adjourned until 19 May. The parties declined to explain the size of the agency agreed sum, which listed the defendant. Initially, the lawsuit said the requirement to collect from the owner of the cargo ship more than 35 million rubles. According to the parties, the lawsuit will be withdrawn if the respondent listed the amount will go to the account of "SGM-bridge" until 19 May. The cargo ship "Lira" March 19 crashed into the support temporary bridge structure, built during the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait, causing structural damage. It was also noted that the captain of the cargo ship is a Turkish citizen. Soon, a law enforcement source said that investigators have opened a criminal investigation into the collision with a cargo ship construction support. Construction Contractor "SGM-Bridge" on April 13 filed a lawsuit against the company Turkuaz Shipping, the owner of the cargo ship in the amount of 35.3 million rubles.
