The Ministry of Education's competition invites teachers to write stories themed 'Family' to enhance children's literature and learning.
The Ministry of Education is hosting its second story writing competition to encourage teachers to merge their pedagogical expertise with creative writing skills, contributing to children's literature.
This year's theme is 'Family,' aiming for teachers to craft original, high-quality stories that align with the Turkey Century Education Model. The initiative seeks to foster family-school collaboration and enrich learning environments within families during children's developmental stages.
Submitted works must cater to the developmental levels of 1st to 8th-grade students and support the objectives of the Turkey Century Education Model. According to the official website of the Ministry of National Education, original storybooks should address sub-themes such as family communication, the acquisition of cultural heritage within the family, safe technology use, supporting social and emotional development, and promoting a reading culture at home.
Teachers can participate by uploading their stories on the 'ogretmenyazar.eba.gov.tr' platform from January 16 to February 28.
