The Maritime Coordination Commission meets to enhance national maritime policy with key representatives from various ministries and institutions.
The Maritime Coordination Commission, chaired by the Undersecretary or Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, comprises high-level representatives with decision-making authority from relevant ministries, including Environment, Foreign Affairs, Energy, Interior, Trade, and Agriculture. It also includes institutions such as the Naval Forces, Coast Guard Command, and the Chamber of Shipping.
Industry stakeholders, including the Shipbuilders Association, the Turkish Pilots Association, and the Chamber of Marine Engineers, can participate as observers without voting rights.
