The 'Aegean Queen' experienced engine failure at Fethiye on Jan 23, 2018. The tug 'Kurtkulagi' was appointed to tow the vessel to the Tuzla shipyard area. The towage operation commenced on Jan 26, upon completion of approval formalities. The coastal safety tug provided escort service for the vessel and Strait traffic safety, during the Canakkale Strait passage. ETA to Tuzla shipyard area was Jan 30.
