The 'Alrayan', en route from Beirut to Batumi in ballast condition, suffered a technical failure on Aug 13, 2018. The vessel sheltered at Datca anchorage under its own power. Repairs were still being carried out by the crew and remained stationary at the anchorage position 36° 44.31' N 027° 42.93' E on Aug 15.
