The 'BaltFlot 5' allided with berth 16 at the sea port of St. Petersburg on May 25, 2018, at 9.35 p.m. while proceeding to Lesnoy Mole Roads on the Korabelny fairway with a pilot on board. The tanker hit the berth with its portside stern and sustained hull damages above the waterline. After an inspection the ship was detained for repairs. It sailed from St. Petersburg on May 27, bound for Yaroslavl.
