Evergreen Marine, Yang Ming, and Wan Hai Lines report significant revenue growth in August 2026, continuing a positive trend for the year.
Evergreen Marine, Yang Ming Marine Transport, and Wan Hai Lines have each released their revenue figures for August 2026. Across all three carriers, August revenues recorded growth on both a year-on-year and month-on-month basis, while cumulative revenues for the first eight months of 2026 remained firmly positive compared with the same period in the prior year.
Evergreen Marine generated operating revenue of NT$48.98 billion (approximately US$1.52 billion) in August 2026, representing a year-on-year increase of 48.6% and a month-on-month increase of 1.9%. For the first eight months of 2026, Evergreen Marine's cumulative operating revenue reached NT$288.74 billion (approximately US$9.10 billion), advancing 9.8% against the same period last year.
Yang Ming Marine Transport recorded operating revenue of NT$21.61 billion (approximately US$670 million) in August 2026, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 56.2% and a month-on-month increase of 3.7%. Cumulative operating revenue for the first eight months of 2026 reached NT$127.03 billion (approximately US$4.00 billion), up 11.9% year-on-year.
Wan Hai Lines posted operating revenue of NT$19.20 billion (approximately US$600 million) in August 2026, marking a year-on-year increase of 65.6% and a month-on-month increase of 3.0%. For the first eight months of 2026, Wan Hai Lines' cumulative operating revenue reached NT$114.38 billion (approximately US$3.60 billion), rising 19.2% compared with the same period in the prior year.
Taken together, the August revenue performance of all three carriers reinforces a sustained trajectory of year-on-year growth, with cumulative results through the first eight months of 2026 confirming that operational momentum across Taiwan's major liner operators remains robust and firmly on course.
