Steve Jobs yacht seized in Amsterdam Philippe Starck, designer of the "Venus” ordered the yacth to be arrested in Amsterdam as the bills have not yet been completely paid. Three million Euro have not yet been paid according to Roelant Klaassen, Starck's lawyer in Rotterdam. The Apple founder Steve Jobs and Starck had planned and designed the yacht whocj was built at the Dutch "de Vries" Yard. According to Starck, a fee of nine million euros had been agreed, which was six percent of the estimated price of 150 million Euros. Unfortunately there was never a written contract. Even Jobs' heirs argue that Starck is to receive six percent of the value of the yacht. However, the costs were estimated cheaper than 105 million Euros. Two months ago, the boat was launched. Since then, the yacht was owned by Jobs' family. Starck's lawyer, however, is not expecting a long legal battle. As soon as a bank guarantee is presented by the U.S. attorneys, the ban fill be lifted.
