    Steel cutting for bulk carrier of Turkish "Geden Lines"

    S048 is the third vessel in the series of the eight contracted with Geden (Turkey). Just like her 2 elder sisters, she is 182.5 meter in length, 32.26 meter in breadth and 18.3 meter in depth.

    As scheduled, on 25 August 2011, at 10:00 am, Steel cutting Ceremony for the Hull No. S048 -56,000 DWT Bulk Carrier- has been hosted at HVS fabrication shop. To be present at the ceremony, representatives of Owner, Class society (DNV) and the Yard gathered to have a short friendly conversation as well as took commemorative photos. S048 is the third vessel in the series of the eight contracted with Geden (Turkey). Just like her 2 elder sisters, she is 182.5 meter in length, 32.26 meter in breadth and 18.3 meter in depth. In the connection with our current production plan, the captioned vessel shall be launched in the middle of next year and delivered at the end of July 2012.
