    In the evening of Sep 21, 2018, the 'Seaforce' allided with four sailing yachts in the city port of Sassnitz upon Rügen. The ship was about to berth at pier 3 of the east port. During the turning manoever in the basin the control of the pitch propeller failed, and strong winds caught the disabled ship and drifted it towards the east jetty. The stern hit a piling and pushed it to the side. Then the stern of the standby vessel hit the pier, and drifting backwards it damaged four sailing yachts which were moored there. Then the crew managed to tie the ship up to the quay. One crew member was slightly injured. The 'Seaforce' suffered slight damage, the damage to the yachts had to be assessed yet. The ship was detained for investigations and remained in port by Sep 24.
