US Austin, Texas-based freighter aircraft lease-finance company Spectre Cargo Solutions has delivered a B737-700BDSF to Tianjin Air Cargo. The freighter is on a long-term lease to the China-based airline from Spectre's Irish entity, NGF Overseas Aircraft. It is the first Boeing freighter of the type to be delivered to a Chinese operator and brings Tianjin's fleet to four Boeing freighters.
Tianjin Haite Aircraft Engineering (HAITE) performed the IAI B737-700BDSF modification for Spectre.
It is the fourth B737-700BDSF received by the lessor. Before the conversion, the aircraft was operated by Xiamen Airlines since 1998.
Spectre has a number of freighters in varying stages of production and will take delivery of at least five B737-800 freighters and one B737-700 freighter over the next several months, bringing its delivered total to sixteen B737NG freighters. The company's order book currently exceeds 30 freighters, reports London's Air Cargo News.
