The 'Víctor Angelescu' may have found a trace of the 'Rigel' 90 meters deep on the bottom of the sea in the afternoon of June 20 with its side scan sonar, and it was to be investigated if it was the 'Rigel' once the storm that plagues the area has ceased. The length and width of the object found by the crew was very similar to those of the 'Rigel'. Waves were between 5 and 7 meters high and the wind speeds were 80 kilometers per hour, so the 'Víctor Angelescu' withdrew from the area. It is estimated that conditions would improve between June 22 and 23, so that a ROV could be deployed from the 'Tango S 15' and take images to determine if it is the 'Rigel'.
