Discover unique ship models by Fuat Kayabalı and Kadri Dilmen at a special exhibition opening July 1 in Kozlu, celebrating maritime culture.
Fuat Kayabalı, who has been transforming materials collected from nature into art for 30 years, and Kadri Dilmen, an internationally awarded model ship master, will showcase their unique works at an exhibition to be held in Kozlu as part of the July 1 Maritime and Cabotage Day celebrations.
The Kozlu Municipality will host a meaningful exhibition within the framework of cultural and artistic events organized for the July 1 Maritime and Cabotage Day.
The event aims to preserve maritime culture, featuring special ship models by Fuat Kayabalı, who has devoted years to model shipbuilding, and Kadri Dilmen, who has gained international recognition for his successes.
The exhibition will open its doors to visitors on Wednesday, July 1, at 12:30 PM at Şehit Mustafa Sezer Square. The handcrafted and meticulously prepared model ships will offer a unique experience to citizens interested in maritime history.
Fuat Kayabalı's original works, created from materials he has collected from nature for nearly 30 years in his workshop, will also be featured in the exhibition. Kayabalı's nature-inspired pieces will provide visitors with an aesthetic visual feast.
One of the notable figures of the exhibition, Kadri Dilmen, a retired employee of the Turkish Hard Coal Enterprise (TTK), has successfully brought his childhood dream of model shipbuilding to the international arena. Dilmen, who has specialized in his field through his work conducted in a room of his house and has gained recognition through the international awards he has won, will also present his works for visitors to appreciate.
Kozlu Municipality has invited all citizens to the exhibition, which aims to pass on maritime culture to future generations.
