SEASPAN Corporation has taken delivery of its 11th 10,000-TEU SAVER design containership, the Maersk Genoa, that was built by Jiangsu Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding Co.
Seaspan charters newly delivered 10,000-TEU containership to Maersk Line SEASPAN Corporation has taken delivery of its 11th 10,000-TEU SAVER design containership, the Maersk Genoa, that was built by Jiangsu Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding Co. The Maersk Genoa will commence a five-year, fixed-rate time charter with Maersk Line, which can extend the charter with two consecutive one-year options. The ship is the second of two vessels of this type to be chartered by Seaspan to Maersk. The delivery of the Maersk Genoa expands the Seaspan's operating fleet to 89 vessels, the company said in a statement.
