A box of tools, four rails and fishing elements in a blue bag with the name of one of the crew members of the missing 'Rigel', were found by the f/v 'Don Gaetano', one of the vessels participating in the SAR-operation off the coast of Chubut, during the last hours. The bag was bearing the name of Fabián Rodríguez', the chief engineer. The Coordinating Center of Puerto Belgrano launched the Beechcraft King Air (B200 M) aircraft early in the morning of June 13 and past noon, and it remained in the area until the light faded. The Navy has sent another B200 aircraft in support of the operations. It also assigned a new search area to the corvette ARA 'Granville', while the transport vessel ARA 'Bahia San Blas' remained in the area as a logistic support. The 'SB-15 - Tango' of the Salvage, Fire and Environmental Protection Service was underway towards the search area. Meanwhile 4,128 square kilometers were tracked with surface means and 3,565 with aerial means in search of the eight missing sailors, four days after having lost contact with the 'Rigel', which had sailed from the port of Mar del Plata on June 5. Despite adverse weather conditions, more than 100 officers of the Naval Prefecture Argentina continued searching on the water, ashore and in the air, among the search units were the three Coastguard boats 'Prefect Fique', 'Prefect Derbes' and Ingeniero White, which patrolled between Punta Ninfas and Bahía Camarones, two helicopters and shore patrols. The eight crew members who still remained missing were Rodrigo Sanita, Néstor Rodríguez, Cristian Osorio, Amadeo Jonatan, Nahuel Navarrete, Carlos Daniel Rodriguez, Pedro Mierez and Rodrigo Blanco. The body of the ship's captan, Salvador Taliercio, was found floating in the vicinity of the ship's last position.
