    Calm weather made it possible, that the 'Kea Trader“ was boarded by teams of Shanghai Salvage Company (SSC) for the 11the time since start of June to remove potential pollution risks. They recovered 9,5 tons lose debris from the cargo holds and the stern as well as 2,2 m³ polluted water from various hydraulic systems. The SSC also made a complete hydrographical survey of the reef and the debris on it. The method to recover the submerged parts of the wreck were still assessed. SSC built special gear on its own yard for this purpose. Noth sections of the ship were conitnuously monitored by drones as well as the crane ship 'Ju-Li“ and the tugs 'De Jing“ and 'Emile Viratelle“ to ensure no debris and oil may remain undetected if getting lose from the ship.
