    RUSSIA's Fresco Group has begun a seasonal service from Chinese and US ports to Chukotka in the framework of its container liner service Fesco Arctic Line (FAL), reports St Petersburg Sea News

    RUSSIA's Fresco Group has begun a seasonal service from Chinese and US ports to Chukotka in the framework of its container liner service Fesco Arctic Line (FAL), reports St Petersburg Sea News. FAL calls at Qingdao, Taicang and Yantai in China, Everett in Washington state, and Provideniya, Pevek, Vladivostok and Vostochny in the Russian Far East.

    The first sailing began August 1 from Taicang, China to Provideniya, Pevek, and again Provideniya in Russia and then to Yantai, China.

    The service deploys two multipurpose vessels with the 665-TEU Fesco Uliss and 665-TEU Fesco Paris. Four sailings are scheduled with 45 thousand tons of cargo to be delivered.

    In 2020, over 1,000 TEU and 10,000 tons of floatation concentrate were carried.
