Regulated port dues in Russia will rise 15 per cent from January 1, 2026, following a draft order submitted by the Federal Antimonopoly Service to the Ministry of Justice, reported Saint Petersburg's Port News.

The adjustment will apply to shipping canal, navigation, lighthouse and icebreaking service charges. Rosmorport noted that port dues were previously increased by 4.9 per cent in 2024.

Investment harbour dues collected at 13 seaports are also set to rise 1.5 times year-on-year in 2026, reaching RUB11.84 billion (US$152.3 million). The Ministry of Transport said the dues volume is projected at US$174.3 million in 2027 and US$189.7 million in 2028.

About US$103 million in harbour dues will be collected this year. Authorities said the funds will be used for rehabilitation of hydraulic engineering installations and Rosmorport's shipbuilding programme.
