FOLLOWING a record year in 2015, freight volume in Rotterdam fell last year by 1.1 per cent to 461.2 million tonnes, while container throughput at the facility increased by 1.2 per cent to 12.4 million TEU, and up by 0.6 per cent in weight to 127.1 million tonnes.
