THE Canadian Port of Prince Rupert has expanded its logistical capabilities with the launch of Wolverine Terminals' marine bunkering service for deep-sea shipping, reports Rotterdam's Offshore Energy

THE Canadian Port of Prince Rupert has expanded its logistical capabilities with the launch of Wolverine Terminals' marine bunkering service for deep-sea shipping, reports Rotterdam's Offshore Energy. Using two barges designed by Canadian ship designer Robert Allan, Wolverine Terminals now offers a diverse range of fuels to vessels calling at the port.

These include marine diesel, heavy fuel oil, intermediate blends, and custom fuel mixes tailored to individual customer needs.

This new service positions the Port of Prince Rupert as a strategic bunkering hub, offering deep-sea vessels access to domestically produced fuels by rail.

The port's advantageous location, with short trading routes to Asia, further enhances its appeal as a gateway to North America.
