Pacific Jewel to Leave P&O Cruises, Replaced with Star Princess

P&O has finally confirmed the exit of its oldest Australia-based ship, Pacific Jewel, March 2019, after ten years with the fleet

P&O has finally confirmed the exit of its oldest Australia-based ship, Pacific Jewel, March 2019, after ten years with the fleet. A month later, as previously announced, Pacific Eden will leave. Both ships were recently in dry dock for minor upgrades. In their places will be Princess Cruises’ much larger Star Princess, which will join P&O from the end of 2021, after sister ship, Golden Princess, joins in October 2020. The Princesses will be transformed and renamed in P&O style.
