Turkish Navy platforms, including TCG Anadolu, TCG Heybeliada, TCG Derya, and TCG Preveze, saluted the citizens in the Izmit Bay.
TEKNOFEST Mavi Vatan will witness an important gathering in the Izmit Bay. With the call 'Take the Turkish Flag, Come to the Bay,' citizens witnessed the passage of the Turkish Navy and the salute flight of unmanned aerial vehicles on Wednesday, August 19.
TEKNOFEST Mavi Vatan, symbolizing Turkey's maritime strength, independence, and national defense capabilities, is hosting a historic gathering in the Izmit Bay. Citizens who came to the shores with the call 'Take the Turkish Flag, Come to the Bay' witnessed the proud passage of the Turkish Navy.
The salute passage followed the route of Altınova, Karamürsel, Ereğli, Ulaşlı, Halıdere, Değirmendere, Gölcük, Kavaklı, Başiskele, İzmit, and Sekapark, concluding in Derince.
In this magnificent passage at sea, the pride of the Turkish Navy, including TCG Alemdar, TCG Akçay, TCG Barbaros, TCG Salihreis, and TCG Derya, as well as other ships and submarines from the Turkish Naval Forces inventory, participated.
