HONG Kong's liner OOCL has inaugurated a new service to its Intra-Europe Network, the 'North Europe - Turkey' service (NET).

The new service commenced from Felixstowe on April 8 and operates with four vessels in the following port rotation: Felixstowe, Hamburg (CTT), Antwerp (Gateway), Piraeus, Istanbul (Kumport), Izmit (Yilport, Gebze), Izmir, Salerno, and back to Felixstowe.

The NET is an additional service for OOCL's Intra-Europe Network and will provide a fixed day, weekly direct service from North Europe to Turkey.

"As one of the vessel operators, we are committed to meeting the needs of customers in this trade. The new NET product will cover all key markets and provide competitive transit times between North Europe and Istanbul, Izmit and Izmir," OOCL said in a statement.
