OOCL to launch China Indonesia Service (CIS3) on May 16, 2026, boosting intra-Asia trade and connectivity between South China and Indonesia.

Orient Overseas Container Line will introduce a new China Indonesia Service (CIS3) on May 16, 2026, as reported in an OOCL press release. This service aims to strengthen intra-Asia coverage and enhance connectivity between South China and Indonesia.

CIS3 will provide direct and reliable links between South China's export hubs and the Indonesian gateways of Jakarta and Surabaya, enabling faster transit times and improved schedule efficiency.

The port rotation for this service will be Xiamen, Nansha, Jakarta, Surabaya, Yantian, and back to Xiamen. OOCL stated that the new service reflects its commitment to expanding regional connectivity and offering customers greater flexibility.

The carrier added that CIS3 complements its existing intra-Asia network, thereby supporting trade growth between China and Indonesia.
