OOCL will introduce a new China Indonesia Service (CIS1) on April 20, as reported in an OOCL communique. This service is designed to strengthen network coverage and improve schedule reliability between the two countries.
The CIS1 rotation will connect Shanghai, Ningbo, and Jakarta before returning to Shanghai. OOCL stated that the new service will deliver faster transit times, support growing cargo volumes, and provide customers with greater flexibility.
The company added that the launch reflects its commitment to enhancing regional connectivity and meeting customer demand for reliable schedules in the China-Indonesia trade lane.
