HONG Kong's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has announced the cancellation of one Asia to North America sailing on the South China 2 (SC2) service on the Trans-Pacific trade.

In response to the expected low demand following Chinese New Year holiday, the shipping carrier has cancelled the SC2 sailing in Week 7 eastbound (ETA Da Chan Bay on February 12) and the return Week 9 westbound sailing (ETA Long Beach on February 28).

OOCL said in a notice to trade that the service will resume with the eastbound OOCL Miami sailing in Week 8 (ETA Da Chan Bay on February 19) and the return west bound journey in Week 10 (ETA Long Beach on March 7).
