    HONG Kong's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), now a Cosco unit, has cancelled numerous Asia-Europe round-trip sailings due to expected low seasonal demand

    HONG Kong's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), now a Cosco unit, has cancelled numerous Asia-Europe round-trip sailings due to expected low seasonal demand. Said the company advisory: 'In response to the expected low demand in the market', we would like to inform you of the withdrawal of the following Asia-Europe sailings:

    On the Asia-North Europe service, Loop 1, westbound: ETA Shanghai on November 24 in Week 47 and eastbound: ETA Felixstowe on December 25 in Week 52 have been cancelled.

    Loop 3, westbound: ETA Xiamen on November 6 in Week 45 and eastbound: ETA Hamburg on December 10 in Week 50 have been cancelled as have the westbound sailings: ETA Xiamen on December 11 in Week 50 and eastbound: ETA Hamburg on January 14 in Week 3.

    Loop 4, westbound: ETA Xingang on November 7 in Week 45 and eastbound: ETA Southampton on December 15 in Week 50 have been cancelled.

    Loop 5, westbound: ETA Qingdao on November 17 in Week 46 and eastbound: ETA Rotterdam on December 23 in Week 52 have been cancelled.

    Loop 6, westbound: ETA Kaohsiung on November 17 in Week 46 and eastbound: ETA Rotterdam on December 25 in Week 52 have been cancelled.

    Loop 7, westbound: ETA Ningbo on December 8 in Week 49 and eastbound: ETA Antwerp on January 10 in Week 2 have been cancelled. Also the sailings of westbound: ETA Ningbo on December 22 in Week 51 and eastbound: ETA Antwerp on January 24 in Week 4 have been cancelled.

    On the Asia-West Mediterranean Service (WM1), the westbound sailing: ETA Qingdao on November 25 in Week 48 and eastbound: ETA La Spezia on December 27 in Week 52 have been cancelled.

    On the Asia-East Mediterranean and Black Sea Service (EM2), the westbound: ETA Qingdao on October 31 in Week 44 and the eastbound: ETA Ashdod on November 26 in Week 48 have been cancelled.

    Also on the EM2, westbound: ETA Qingdao on November 14 in Week 46 and eastbound: ETA Ashdod on December 10 in Week 50 have been cancelled.

    Also on the EM2, westbound: ETA Qingdao on November 21 in Week 47 and the eastbound: ETA Ashdod on December 17 in Week 51 have been cancelled.

    The other EM2 sailings that have been cancelled are: westbound: ETA Qingdao on December 5 in Week 49 and the eastbound: ETA Ashdod on December 31 in Week 1; and westbound: ETA Qingdao on December 19 in Week 51 eastbound: ETA Ashdod on January 14 in Week 3.
