Kuzey Sigorta's traditional 'Winter Welcome Party' was held this year under the hosting of Chairman Emin Yaşacan. Leading representatives of the maritime sector gathered at the Nabizade Mansion in Kadıköy for the event.
The event, which took place alongside beloved flavors of Black Sea cuisine, especially anchovy, provided an opportunity for sector representatives to take a short break from their busy work schedules to engage in conversation and strengthen solidarity. Throughout the night, conversations became even more enjoyable with the accompaniment of the talented artist Selim Bölükbaşı's kemençe and the folk songs he performed.
In a brief speech during the night, Emin Yaşacan emphasized the significance of the organization, stating, 'It is very important to see all sea friends together on this night, which blends the strong ties of the sector with the unique culture of the Black Sea and welcomes the new year.'
Addressing the global challenges faced, Yaşacan shared a saying passed down from his grandmother, addressing the guests: 'We are going through tough times. The world is going through tough times. My grandmother used to say, 'In the midst of hardship, enjoy your pleasures.' May your pleasures be abundant.'
The night continued into the late hours with Black Sea melodies, local flavors, and a warm atmosphere where friendships were strengthened.
