The National Ship and Yacht Design Competition awards ceremony is set for December 15, 2025, showcasing young talent in maritime design.
The National Ship and Yacht Design Competition, organized by the Ship Yacht and Services Exporters Association (GYHİB) since 2012, will celebrate its 14th edition this year. The award ceremony is scheduled for Monday, December 15, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Crowne Plaza Asia Hotel in Kurtköy.
This competition aims to foster the development of the ship and yacht sector by encouraging young designers. The theme for 2025 is 'Motor Sailboat Design Under 24 Meters.' The prizes for the top three winners will be awarded as follows: first place will receive 180,000 TL, second place 120,000 TL, and third place 100,000 TL.
During the award night, projects from numerous participating students will be showcased, and the winning students will be honored. The ceremony will feature notable attendees, including Mustafa Gültepe, President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), Cem Seven, President of GYHİB, and representatives from key institutions in the maritime sector.

19:45–20:30: Opening speeches
20:30–21:30: Gala dinner
21:30–22:00: Award ceremony
