A CARGO ship that ran aground off Brisbane is being detained until it is inspected for damage and judged seaworthy. The 217m Liberian-registered MSC Basel struck a sandbank five kilometres southwest of Comboyuro Point on Moreton Island about 9.30am (AEST) yesterday.
