Medmarine Leads Turkish Shipbuilding Exports Turkish Exporters' Forum (TIM) announced the champions of Turkish export for the year of 2009. Renault Turkey ranked as the first in general listing. In shipbuilding sector, Medmarine Holding has been announced as the "export champion" The primary shipyard of the Medmarine Holding is Eregli Shipyard, at the Western Black Sea Region of Turkey, by Black Sea Coast. While ranked at 1st place at Shipbuilding area, Medmarine Holding ranked at the 72th place in the nation-wide listing, which includes all exporting sectors. Medmarine Holding was in 2nd place last year in the same listing and Group's S&P Manager Melis Ucuncu received a plaque in that order from the Turkish State Minister Zafer Caglayan (See photo) The closest competitor of Medmarine was Sanmar, which exported nearly half of the leading.
