A crew member off Bozcaada was evacuated by Coast Guard due to chest pain, suspected heart attack, and transported to a local hospital.
A crew member aboard a vessel off the coast of Bozcaada in Çanakkale experienced health issues and was evacuated to shore by Coast Guard teams.
When crew member S.A. (49) began to experience chest pain, the ship's captain reported the situation via radio to the Çanakkale Strait Vessel Traffic Services Directorate.
As a result, it was decided to medically evacuate the crew member due to a suspected heart attack.
The crew of the 'TCSG-908' boat, part of the Coast Guard Western Marmara Group Command, retrieved the patient from the vessel in coordination with Bozcaada 112 Emergency Health personnel and successfully carried out the evacuation to shore.
S.A. was then transported by ambulance to Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Hospital.
