The docking of the 'Pride of York' in Hull was delayed for 1,5 hours after a man had to be airlifted to hospital. The ferry was returning to Hull after a trip to Zeebrugge on July 29, 2018, when an air ambulance was called after a man became unwell. The man was assisted by doctors on board the ferry.. After he was hoisted at 7.40 p.m. on a stretcher, a helicopter took himto hospital in Belgium. The ferry had turned around towards Belgium and was waylaid and turned around back towards Hull.
