In the early hours of Aug 30, 2018, the 'Mykonos Palace' which had sailed from Chania port to Piraeus port, returned to Chania to disembark a 65-year-old passsenger who needed immediate hospital care. Upon the arrival of the ship at the port, the patient was transferred to the General Hopsital by an ambulance of the EKAB, and the ferry returned to its route.
