MINDANAO Container Terminal (MCT), operated by International Container Terminal Services Inc (ICTSI) in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, recently welcomed the launch of Shandong International Transportation Corp's (SITC) China-Philippines Express 7 (CXP7) service, reports the Manila Times. 'SITC's new service is designed to meet the growing demand for increased calls at MCT that will cater to the needs of pineapple and banana shippers for timely exports to China,' said MCT chief executive Aurelio Garcia.

The CXP7 service is tailored to accommodate Bukidnon's rising export volume of pineapples and bananas. It offers a reliable transport solution, enhancing export efficiency and strengthening market links between Mindanao and China, writes The Manila Times.

The CXP7 route includes ports in Shanghai, Wenzhou, Manila (South), Cebu, and Cagayan de Oro, with a call at MCT scheduled every Monday.

The maiden voyage was marked by the arrival of the 1,800-TEU vessel SITC Haode in Cagayan de Oro.
